Make-Up Masters Competition 
BEAUTY THEME: RED CARPET GLAM

Make Up Artists are invited to join us in our Name Your Face Competition.  This Beauty Competition challenges artists to create a cutting edge look on the only canvas that they know best, THEMSELVES. You will be judged by our qualified, veteran panel of judges. The top 18 will be judged by our Sage Judges to receive the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place MAKEUP MASTERS Prizes.  All the finalists will be judged on application, originality, HD quality, performance, creativity, blending, theme execution, color clash or color compliment, and the total look. 

Theme choice is important due to the many levels of beauty in our multicultural industry. For Beauty Makeup, the theme is Red Carpet Glam With all of the worldwide changes taking place and the inability for people to gather and enjoy evening events, this Beauty theme will inspire them with the look they can use when all activities are back in swing. Beauty is defined on so many levels, do not mistake the nude grocery store look for the Red Carpet Glam look. We are excited to display your visions of beauty!

NAME YOUR FACE MAKEUP COMPETITION

RULES & REGULATIONS

This is a virtual competition recorded on the Zoom platform. However, the time frame and the rules and regulations MUST still be followed.

  1. By paying the entry fee, you are agreeing to abide by the Rules and Regulations of this Competition and you agree that all judges decisions are FINAL
  2. Make sure that your face is visible throughout the entire zoom. Use a mirror under your camera to see yourself. Judges and audience have to see the entire process.
  3. All contestants are required to provide their own makeup utensils. 
  4. You, the Model, must be dressed in appropriate attire to reflect the mood of the beauty creation. Be covered from the shoulders up.
  5. You are required to submit before and after photos. Please see the confirmation email for details. 
  6. All models, hair stylists, fashion coordinators and photographers have to fill out forms and waivers HERE.
  7. NO NUDITY or Horror.
  8. THEME:
    Beauty Makeup: Red Carpet GLAM 
  9. Your selfie hair has to be completely finished and you need to be completely dressed in the video. NO NUDITY or Partial NUDITY. Your video will be disqualified
  10. All ornamentation is optional and cannot cover more than 10% of your face. Must be applied during the Zoom recording. 3D ornaments will not add to your final score.
  11. Lashes are allowed and can be applied before the Zoom video.
  12. A 10” (or larger) ring light is required for the video filming.
  13. All artistic work MUST be original designs and not submitted to any other online competition.
  14. ALL work must be NEW and not previously loaded created and submitted to any social media platforms prior to entering this competition. 
  15. Disqualification will be decided if your work has been displayed on social media by you or another makeup artist. 
  16. Disqualification will be decided if you have been assisted in any way with the application of the makeup.

We will be judging in these categories:
Performance (energy)
Technique
Creativity
Final Look/Theme management

MUST HAVES:

  1. Video must be done against a WHITE background.
  2. All entries must be recorded with a cell phone rear facing camera.
  3. 10 inch or larger ring light.
  4. Must show the complete face transformation from fresh clean start to finish. (lashes can be pre-done). 

MUST NOTs:

  1. DO NOT film without proper lighting

Competitor will provide their own brushes and make up utensils.

WHAT CAN BE PRE-DONE AT START OF VIDEO:
Only the Hair style, attire, and Eye Lashes can be completed prior to start of make up video. Start with a clean face.
